Intelligence that actually changes how you compete.

"We caught a competitor's stealth funding round two weeks before TechCrunch covered it. That gave us time to adjust our positioning before their launch. Worth 10× the subscription."

Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Email [email protected].

How quickly do I get my first brief?

Your first brief is delivered the Monday after you subscribe. If you sign up on a Monday, you'll get your first brief the following Monday (we need a full week of signal collection).

Can I change my competitor list?

Yes. Email us anytime and we'll update your tracked competitors for the next brief. Changes take effect from the next billing cycle.

What format are the briefs?

Professionally formatted PDF, delivered to your inbox. Typically 8-15 pages depending on signal volume. Designed to be read in 10-15 minutes.

How is this different from Google Alerts?

Google Alerts sends you raw links. GhostBrief gives you analysis — what the signal means, why it matters, and what you should do about it. We also cover sources Google Alerts can't: job boards, GitHub, ProductHunt, funding databases.

Is my data confidential?

Absolutely. We never share your competitor list or briefs with anyone. Your intelligence is yours alone. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. Your remaining briefs in the current period will still be delivered.

What sources do you monitor?

Six categories: job postings (LinkedIn, careers pages), funding databases, product launches (ProductHunt, app stores), press/media, social activity (X, LinkedIn), and technical signals (GitHub, APIs).

Can I track more than 8 competitors?

For most founders, 5-8 competitors is the sweet spot — enough to see the landscape, focused enough to be actionable. Need more? Contact us for a custom arrangement.

What if there's no news on a competitor?

Silence is a signal too. We'll note when competitors go quiet and what that might indicate. You'll always get a brief, even if the summary is "nothing significant detected."
